Foundations of Flight Aerial Yoga Teacher Training - Level 1 Certification + Weekend Immersion
Dates: JAN 21-23, 2021 (3-day weekend immersion program/8 hours per day,with 1 hour lunch break)
Time: 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM with 1 Hour Lunch from 2:30-3:30 PM.

Teacher Pathway: If you are interested in becoming an Aerial Yoga Certified Teacher, and want to teach Aerial Yoga based classes upon competition on this training, then this is the pathway for you. The higher cost of this Pathway reflects the additional work and at home study necessary to teach a comprehensive Aerial Yoga Class, and you must have a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training as a prerequisite for this advanced Aerial Yoga Training.
Continued Education Hours: Aerial Teacher Certification - YA Certified Continued Education Hours 25 Level 1 AY Certification Program Prerequisites (in order to Teach after Training Completion): 200 HR Certified YTT Program. Those that choose the Teaching Pathway will be required to complete 2 Final Projects, 1 Take Home Exam, and 1 Follow-Up Zoom Meeting Call. All of these requirements will need to be met before receipt of Aerial Yoga Advanced Certification, and within two weeks of the date of graduation.
Student Immersion Pathway (No Certification): If you are wanting to deepen your Aerial Yoga practice by learning the foundation and fundamentals of flight, than this is the Immersion for you. At a lesser cost than the Teacher Pathway, this affordable and comprehensive training will have you progressing to a higher level of control and achievement in the yoga hammock.
Student Immersion - Students of Aerial Yoga and those looking to deepen their practice (at discounted price and will not be eligible for Continued Education Hours through Yoga Alliance).

Program Overview
The Foundations of Flight Aerial Yoga Level 1 Teacher Training, offered in conjunction with Wanderlust Studio and Wanderlust Teacher/Aerial Yoga Instructor, Kellee Rich, will provide those wanting to teach Aerial Yoga a pathway to success. Deeply rooted in Yoga Philosophy and Principles of Yoga, this Aerial Yoga Teacher Training stands apart from many advanced aerial yoga trainings that are currently offered.
In this training you will learn the Foundations of Flight, from the ground up, focusing on five Modules: 1) Aerial Asana & Sequencing, 2) Aerial Alignment & Anatomy, 3) Aerial Progressions & Modifications, 4) Aerial Transitions & Assists/Spotting, and 5) Aerial Rigging & Safety, to name a few.
Aerial Yoga Curriculum: In this Level 1 AYTT you will develop the necessary skills to lead an Aerial Yoga class with confidence. You will learn the Foundations of Flight through multiple Aerial & Yoga Education Modules, a daily Aerial Yoga Practice, and Practice Teaching opportunities, graduating with the ability to theme and intuitively sequence an Aerial Yoga Class.
